We need to have more discussion, as consumers and library patrons, about what exactly "curation" is and who is most capable of doing it- and also to not falsely equate not choosing to include a book as part of a library's collection with a forced suppression of a text, which is the true definition of a "ban".
It would be interesting to go to some of these libraries and ask them to include a whole bunch of blatantly right-wing books and see if they make excuses for why they don’t have room for them. Then, of course, they are “banning” these books by choosing not to include them in the library.
